Why would they need to sack him? His contract is up.

Re: West Ham consider £30m Wilshere move
That's about £25m too much. Offer £5m plus Arsene's airfare to where ever his next job is once Arsenal get the balls to sack him!

Unreliable, injury prone, inconsistent, slow and overpriced.

Perfect WHU signing. Go for it.

Talented though he may be, we can't afford to risk him

Good player, but absolutely not the player we are in need of.

Can't see anyone paying much over 15m for him.

Fantastic player if he can stay fit though. Would spell the end for Noble if he did come in.

Another complete waste of money, the paper which mentioned this said we were also interested in Bony!! So don't expect much in the close season whichever league we are in.

Hoping this was an April fool's.

When rebranding us they should of added "sick note fc" at the bottom of the badge instead of London.

Bang on.

A slow injury prone player. Just what we need.

Spot on.

Pace is devastating - look at Chelsea with the likes of Willian, Moses and Hazard. Lightning quick.

The reason Fabregas, a top quality player- doesn't start is that Conte doesn't want players who slow down the midfield.

We have far too many slow players. Only Antonio has a burst of pace - and that's why he is our most consistent goal scorer.

Players like Snodgrass, Feghouli and Noble are so far off the pace of the Premier League it's a joke.

If we don't fix this we will never progress.

Re: West Ham consider £30m Wilshere move
Just what we don't need. Yet another player with the pace of an asthmatic snail in the squad.

Don't get me wrong but Carroll, whilst unplayable in the air, is never going to get to a ball played over the top. Noble is never going to burst through midfield at pace leaving defenders in his wake. Snodgrass? He's one paced from what I've seen so far.

We need to get some pace and technical ability into the team. Who was the last player that we had who had that explosive speed, could run with the ball and the technical ability that all teams are scared of?

Re: West Ham consider £30m Wilshere move
We need to reshape the team really, basically we've moved from the smallest pitch to the biggest and haven't improved our engine or tactics to the cover the extra space.

We need high energy players, not older more experienced 29+ lads to help guide us through this period. We should go all out and get some players under 25 with potential & stamina. We need to change our outlook and approach to fit with our new home ground. It may not feel like home for us, but the players need to enjoy the pitch size and have the abilities to thrive in the conditions. Having a team of players who are more suited to small pitches with less space is no good, unfortunately Bilic and the owners completely underestimated this and moving forward, the old guard players like Noble are probably finished as first teamers now.

Wilshere is just a more injury prone, younger, version of Noble, albeit with a little more attacking finesse. A great addition to the squad, but not what we need in our current system.
